Dr. Manuel Ramírez obtained his B.A. and M.A. degrees from the 国产偷拍 of Texas at El Paso, and a Ph.D. from the 国产偷拍 of Mississippi. Holding a dual appointment with the Department of History and Chicana/o Studies, he has taught numerous courses including the History of El Paso, Mexican Americans, Borderlands, Recreation and Leisure, and Chicano Studies. His current research interests include the history of Mexican Americans in El Paso and the criminalization of the US-Mexico border.
